Preparing for pet sitting services:

 

~ Be sure sitter has all possible contact phone numbers and/or email addresses for you as well as a close family member or friend.  Any person (s) listed must be able to accept responsibility for pet (s) in event of owner emergency. Advise neighbors or anyone checking on your home that you have hired a pet sitting service.

 

~ Provide extra food, litter & supplies in the event that you are not

able to return when planned. In addition, please note the location of these items. Contact your pet sitter if you need to extend your time away from home.

 

~ Advise in writing of any household areas that are off limit to the pet or pet sitter. Secure these areas before leaving.

 

~ Inform pet sitter of any special conditions of pets as well as how to care for those conditions.

   plus 40 cents per mile
